Charitable Efforts

As an integrated primary school we believe that our children should learn to appreciate all that they have available to them and to be thankful. We also want our children to learn that there are people in our own community and around the world who do not have the same love, care and attention that we do. We encourage our pupils to get involved in work to support local, national and international charities.

Our Mission Statement urges our children 'to give of their time and talent with generosity and good grace.'

Each year we celebrate Harvest with a special assembly. We bring in lots of generous donations of food to give to local charities such as the Salvation Army, St Vincent de Paul, South and West Belfast Foodbank and the Morning Star Hostel.

Harvest Assembly

At the end of October we have a non-uniform day to raise funds for different local charities.
In December we celebrate Christmas Jumper Day and raise money for Safe the Children.
