Superb Sleepy Shepherd!

Once again parents, grandparents and staff were treated to a spectacular performance in the Christmas concert. This year children from P1-P3 took on many of the acting roles in a fabulous performance of, 'The Sleepy Shepherd'. Well done to all of them! The play told the story of the nativity through the eyes of a young shepherd looking after her sheep on the mountainside. She was joined on stage with her shepherd friends, their sheep and all the usual nativity characters- The Wise Men, the camels, the angels and of course Mary and Joseph to welcome baby Jesus.

The children were brilliant and received a wonderful cheer and applause from their audience. A special well done has to go to Tallulah for her performance as ,The Sleepy Shepherd. The remainder of the school sang beautifully accompanied by Mrs Millar and our wonderful orchestra. Recognition must be given to the orchestra who played beautifully demonstrating commitment and effort to the learning of their instruments.

Thank you and well done to Mrs Millar (Producer and Musical Director) and Mr Scott (Assistant Producer) as well as Mr Carson for their great efforts in putting on a magnificent show. Thank you also to Mr McErlane, our orchestra teacher for supporting them in their preparations.

Our wonderful backdrop was produced by Mr McCarthy, one of our parents. We very much appreciate him giving of his talents to support Cranmore. Thank you Mr McCarthy.
